Brad graduated from BCIT with an honours diploma in Mechanical Technology in 1986. At the age of 25, he purchased his first manufacturing business, Van
Ingen (now Advanced Bending Technologies). He later went on to purchase IMW Industries, which he built into a globally successful exporter with subsidiaries
in five countries around the world, with over $100 million in revenue and 700 employees. After selling IMW in 2009, Brad continued to invest in the
manufacturing space in Canada and the US and currently owns seven companies specialized in marine and industrial manufacturing with a focus on clean
tech manufacturing. Additionally, Brad is a significant investor in several tech start-ups in the food processing and medical device sectors.
Brad is also active as a volunteer director on the boards of two foundations, three not for profits and one NGO with a focus on education and health in Canada and Uganda.
Jerry has over 30 years of experience across a broad range of international automotive, aerospace and industrial manufacturing. He started his career in Toronto as an aerospace CAD/CAM programmer and then as a computer systems manager. After moving to Vancouver, he became the estimating manager for a global supplier to the major commercial aircraft manufacturers and the NASA manned space flight program. During this time he was instrumental in the company rising to the top of this highly competitive industry.
Subsequently, he used his MBA in International Finance as the VP of South and Central America at a major global compressed natural gas company. There he grew the sales and service operations from 5 employees in 2 cities to 120 employees in 29 cities over a 3 year period. When the company was purchased Jerry was promoted to Global Sales Manager directing the world-wide sales team.
Currently as the Director of Strategic Planning at AGI Jerry has been managing and growing the business with a major international hydrogen fuel cell manufacturer. He is also responsible for developing new business opportunities and promoting synergies and manufacturing efficiencies between the diverse group of AGI companies.
Darren began his career as a tradesman. Over the years he worked hard and moved his way up through the ranks to a management position of a small manufacturing company. He left the company to become an entrepreneur and formed a manufacturing company of his own which he owned and operated. Darren eventually sold his business and returned to the production management team of a larger manufacturing facility. This eventually led him to advanced Flow Systems where he started working as the plant manager in charge of operations at the Maple Ridge location for both Advanced Flow Systems and Surround Technologies.
Renay Nunnikhoven is a Senior Finance Executive who is experienced in working capital management, debt financing/negotiation, financial planning & analysis, ERP design & implementation, human resources, operational & financial restructuring as well as mergers and acquisition integration. She is a proven strategic thinker who excels in a dynamic environments that demands sound accounting judgement while achieving aggressive corporate goals. While at Magnum Trailer and Equipment Inc., as a VP of Finance, Renay was instrumental in streamlining internal operational processes while enabling growth of the group through focused financing, investments and cost control processes. Renay joined AdvanTec Industrial in September 2015 and is driving the alignment of all three companies within the Industrial division (AFS, ABT & STI) to ensure that they continue to operate within industry held standards and practices.
Graduating from Simon Fraser University with a B.A. in International Relations, Ivan began his career growing the business of IPN Brainpower, a niche German
consulting firm with new offices in Canada. After successful 3 years , he transitioned into a National Sales Manager role with IMW Industries where
he was responsible for the most mature and active market in the organizations global portfolio. After the acquisition of IMW Industries by Clean Energy
Fuels Ivan transitioned into a sales role with Surround Technologies, division of AdvanTec Global Innovations.
Tasked with maintaining and developing relationships with large national and international EPC’s Ivan’s vision was key in realizing the vision behind AdvanTec Industrial, a vertically integrated entity comprised of AdvanTec Global Innovations entire industrial portfolio. Currently Ivan is responsible for managing the contract manufacturing portfolio within AdvanTec Industrial, strategic partnerships and technology investments.
